Note 47 – Take your time when writing

For the background to my writing challenge, please read my first blog by clicking the following link – http://wp.me/p1x6Ui-4. If you would prefer to dive straight into note 47, then please read on…

Take your time when writing

It’s always good to get new tips from others; it’s all about sharing and learning.  Today is one of those days when my cold and hayfever is getting the better of me and my headache is preventing me from reading and spending a long time on the computer.  I am therefore very grateful to the ‘Daily Writing Tips’ website that I have discovered (see link below) which has an article called ‘A case for slow writing’ which I urge you to read.

The article suggests taking your time over your writing and really savouring the moment, unless you have to submit a piece of writing for a contract, or the money you receive from it is your only income!

My thoughts: it’s so true that we sometimes think we need to get a piece of writing finished so that we can send if off quickly or move onto the next challenge.  Make today the day that you slow down and take your time over your work.  Thank you ‘Daily Writing Tips’ for providing something for my readers to learn.

Enjoy today – I’m going off to bed now to sleep off my headache!

Until tomorrow…

Sandra
