I posted a question on the WordPress Forum today but as I haven’t had a response yet, I thought I would throw the question to a wider audience. The situation is that I used to be able to copy a post that I had already published, thus saving me time each day. At the moment I have to pick almost the same categories, tags and add my sign off every day – there must be an easier way. Even being able to create a template would be useful.
How I think it’s supposed to work
In the menu under ‘posts’ there is a ‘Copy a Post’ option but when selected, it just brings up a brand new blank post. I’m grateful to the couple of people on the forum that have responded so far, but it appears that they are having the same issues (see link at the beginning of the post). I was wondering if anyone else is able to copy a post or create a template. Perhaps it’s a plug in.
If I get an update I will post a comment against this post.
Thank you!
Until tomorrow…

My one Cranky Old Lady complaint about WP is their poor support. A more minor crank is similar to yours above. They also had a re-blog button that was helpful that vanished along with the copy a post.
Some one suggested resheduling the post would work. Try that, But I am not certain it includes the tags.
Good luck.
Hi
A re-blog button sounds good, I never saw that before it disappeared. Thanks for the advice, I will try the rescheduling and let you know.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
